Neiri Carrasco

Neiri Carrasco is currently the Director for the Yakima Valley/Tri-Cities MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement) Center at Washington State University, Tri-Cities. Neiri blends nearly seven years of experience within the MESA organization, with a distinct expertise in STEM education, and an emphasis on access for underrepresented students. Neiri serves as a liaison with local communities, organizations, school districts and industries for the MESA program. She currently serves as member on the Advisory Council for WSU Tri-Cities Hispanic Serving Institution Project and WSUSTEM Education Partnership. Under her leadership Acceso a la Ciencia was recognized as 2010-11 Science Education Advocate recipient by Washington State LASER.

Neiri earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Rockford College.
