AWIS Central Arizona Chapter's K-12 Outreach

In an effort to encourage young women to consider a career in STEM, the Central Arizona Chapter of AWIS is developing a series of K-12 events/programs that allow participants a chance to experience science. Programs such as the Hands on Science and the Summer Microscopy Camp, are developed and implemented by female STEM professionals so that young women can aspire to be future scientists like these role models as well as participate in fun and educational activities.
