AWSEM Camp

Women in science rock! Become an advocate for women in science, engineering, and math (AWSEM).

Whether you want to be an engineer, mathematician, research scientist, or work in a profession that hasn’t even been invented yet, the sky is the limit. For centuries, women scientists have researched cures for diseases, restored wildlife, created computer programs, and designed the bridges and roads we drive on today.

In this action-packed day camp, you will have the opportunity to conduct experiments, explore the inner workings of a computer, solve a crime using forensic science, construct a Rube Goldberg device, tour a nuclear reactor, and more. Meet girls your age interested in science, engineering, and math, and visit female mentors with successful careers in these fields. This is your chance to dive in, ask questions, and explore a future career in science.
