SHADES(SHaring ADventures in Engineering & Science

SHADES is a program of highly interactive, demonstration-oriented presentations on science and engineering topics. It is for 6th and 7th grade girls and their math and science teachers. The goal is to show girls that these disciplines are 'fun' and interesting and that career opportunities are very diverse. The teacher program focuses on techniques for making science and math more interesting to girls.
